The cause of Amy Winehouse's death remains a mystery. The family says toxicology tests given to them by authorities show no illegal drugs were in their daughter's system when she died one month ago.
To a certain extent, this must be a relief for her family, who have always contended that Winehouse died of alcohol withdrawal. This turns out not to be true, however, at least Winehouse’s system didn’t contain the cornucopia of drugs that the tabloids had been speculating about.
