6th Person Dies from Stage-Collapse Injuries

A 22-year-old college student died today from injuries suffered in last weekend's stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.

Jennifer Haskell, a senior at Ball State University, was one of dozens injured in Saturday's disaster. Her best friend, 23-year-old Alina Bigjohny of Fort Wayne, was one of four people killed immediately. Haskell was entering her senior year at Ball State in Muncie, where she was studying sports medicine.

A sixth person has died in the aftermath of the Indiana State Fair stage collapse, the Marion County Coroner's Office confirmed Friday.

Jenny Haskell, 22, a senior at Ball State University, succumbed to her injuries six days after the collapse of the main stage that also injured 45 people.
