New York Mets defeat Washington Nationals, 3-2

WASHINGTON - R.A. Dickey is not quite ready to call 10 wins a milestone, but, he acknowledged, "It means something ... feels good."

Dickey threw six strong innings Wedbesdat and helped the Mets with his bat, too, in a 3-2 victory over the Nationals that improved his record to 10-6, a career-high in wins. Dickey was  2-for-2 to improve his batting average to .238 and scored the Mets' first run.
