Texas Rangers defeat New York Yankees, 6-5

ARLINGTON, Tex. - If the Yankees and Rangers meet in the first round of the playoffs, it could make for a very entertaining series.A very long one, too.

The Yankees chased C.J. Wilson from the game Friday night after three innings, but the Rangers made a late charge, tying the game in the eighth on Nelson Cruz's home run off Joba Chamberlain.
