Minnesota Twins defeat Tampa Bay Rays, 2-1

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. - The Twins left Tropicana Field on Wednesday pacified by pleasant thoughts after beating the Rays 2-1 in 13 innings.

Delmon Young's RBI single in the 13th scored Alexi Casilla with the winning run. Matt Guerrier, who gave up the winning homer to B.J. Upton on Tuesday, shaved off his Fu Manchu look, took the mound in the 12th and retired Upton and five other Rays hitters to get the win after going 0-3 with a 36.00 ERA against them this season.
