ARLINGTON, Texas — For the third time this season, Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury has landed on the disabled list.

After colliding with Rangers pitcher Tommy Hunter on a ground ball in the first inning Friday night and reinjuring his ribs, Ellsbury was sent back to Boston yesterday to undergo tests at Massachusetts General Hospital.
