DENVER • Ubaldo Jimenez ended his slide toward the Alll-Star break with an eight-inning gem that completed a three-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals at Coors Field.
The Cardinals put two runners on base only once in the game, and their only run came because of a couple of groundouts.

Except he did make sure it was over sooner, devoid of drama.
