Pittsburgh — Down nine runs after only one inning, the Milwaukee Brewers made a valiant attempt to pull off one of the biggest comebacks in club history.
That task proved to be too much.
Crawling within one run by the sixth inning, the Brewers eventually ran out of steam Tuesday night and bowed to the Pittsburgh Pirates, 11-9, at PNC Park.
