President Obama Arrives in New Orleans to Survey Response to Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

Obama blasted BP for spending money on a PR campaign and said it's "way too early to be optimistic" about the latest attempt to contain the oil gushing from the floor of the Gulf.

BP managed to cover the ruptured well with an upside-down funnel, but oil is still rushing out of vents cut into the funnel. Engineers will be closing the vents one by one today in an attempt to stem the flow of oil.

President Obama didn't bring his clubs to the Gulf, but took a swing at BP for its handling of the oil spill.

The President made his third trip to the Louisiana coast Friday since the April 20 offshore rig explosion that killed 11 workers and ignited the worst oil spill in U.S. history.
