Texas Rangers defeat Milwaukee Brewers, 7-2

Beginning with their interleague game Sunday afternoon against Texas, the Brewers had 100 games remaining in the season.

With Prince Fielder mired in a season-long run-production slump, manager Ken Macha said his first baseman would be wise to set modest goals for the remainder of the season.

Colby Lewis was just too much for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Too much on the mound and too much at the plate, which isn't supposed to happen with an American League pitcher in an interleague game in a National League park.

"He threw the ball as good as anybody we've seen this year," said Brewers infielder Craig Counsell. "He threw the ball exactly where he wanted to. He had great location. That was impressive."
