ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Different manager, same sense of humor.

With White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen attending the graduation of his youngest son, Ozney, on Friday, Joey Cora filled in as acting manager for a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.

While being asked afterward about Matt Thornton pitching 1 1/3 innings to get the save, Cora took a page from Guillen's book of snarkiness.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Through the first two months of the season, Sergio Santos' climb from struggling White Sox infielder to dominant relief pitcher has all the makings of a Disney movie.

He's just wondering how it ends.

Santos has been stellar through his first 19 appearances, allowing one run in 18 innings for a filthy 0.50 ERA, but has been handled with kid gloves for the most part.

He'd like to see if he can stand up to the pressure of closing games.
