Two sixteen year old boys vandalize Rod Blagojevich's home

Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with felony criminal damage to property for allegedly throwing a bottle through a window of ex-Gov.

Rod Blagojevich's Ravenswood Manor home. The alleged incident happened Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Sunnyside Avenue.

A police official said Blagojevich's wife, Patti, who was home at the time, saw the teens and called police. The two minors were apprehended a short time later.

The two have been turned over to juvenile authorities and face a court hearing. The felony charge reflects the fact that the damage exceeded $300.

Police said it was not clear what the teens' motive was or if they even knew the house was Blagojevich's.
