Tiger Woods Announces Return to Professional Golf Following Sex Scandal

When Tiger Woods announced Tuesday that he will return to competitive golf at the Masters next month, his decision certainly turned heads.

It wasn’t the fact that he was returning, but that he was doing it at the hallowed grounds of Augusta National. Some would have thought that, with the course’s no-distractions, focus-on-the-golf policy, the Lords of Augusta would’ve turned away Woods before the notion was even brought up.

Tiger Woods' planned return to golf at the Masters drew plenty of criticism from the international press on Wednesday, and the most scathing comments came from Britain.
Daily Mirror columnist Oliver Holt questioned the top-ranked golfer's reasons for coming back to play at Augusta National.
