New Orleans Hornets defeat Boston Celtics, 93-85

The Celtics’ bad second-half habits surfaced again last night.

Three days after a third-quarter collapse against Orlando, the Celtics slumped after halftime in a 93-85 loss to the New Orleans Hornets.

Against the Magic, the Celtics sustained a 28-2 thumping spanning the final two quarters. This time, they were outscored, 22-3, over a period of 5:26 in the third.
