Minnesota Wild defeat Calgary Flames, 2-1

The Wild is hitting "pause" on Pierre-Marc Bouchard's return to game action.

With the team expected to send Bouchard to Houston any day for a rehab stint, things came to a halt Friday after the Wild was informed he hadn't been given the green light from Denver-based concussion specialist James Kelly.

Martin Havlat looked to the heavens, the relief unmistakable on his face. At last, the glaring goose egg in his goals column would be no more.

The skilled winger broke out Friday night with the winning goal -- his first tally of the season -- in the third period to help the Wild close its five-game homestand with a 2-1 victory over Calgary at Xcel Energy Center.

"Well, finally it went in," Havlat said. "More important than that, it helped us win the game."
