Los Angeles Kings defeat Minnesota Wild, 3-2

The only thing that delayed the inevitable -- the Wild blowing a two-goal lead on home ice -- was Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown's five-minute major Monday night.

If that didn't temporarily interrupt the onslaught, the Kings' comeback likely would have occurred a lot sooner than it did.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Canucks forward Rick Rypien has apologized for grabbing a fan during a game last week.

Rypien is serving a six-game suspension for making contact with James Engquist during a game against the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul on Oct. 19.

"I know what I did was wrong," Rypien said.
