Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush Launch the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund

Reporting from Washington -- Three presidents from opposing parties stood united outside the White House this morning to signal the launch of an aggressive private fundraising drive for the earthquake-stricken nation of Haiti.

"These two leaders send an unmistakable message to the people of Haiti and the world," Obama said of the former presidents flanking him in the Rose Garden. "In a moment of need, the United States stands united."

Today President Obama announced the reunion of former presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton in spearheading a Haiti relief fund. The organization is called the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and the two presidents spoke today and called upon Americans to give generously. Former president George Bush cut to the chase and stated, “I know a lot of people want to send blankets or water; just send your cash.”
