Washington Nationals defeat New York Mets, 4-3

WASHINGTON - Pedro Feliciano wants to top his franchise record for appearances in a season, which he originally set last year with No. 86.

With four games left, the lefthanded reliever will likely accomplish that feat. Feliciano matched last year's mark Tuesday night, when he entered in the eighth to strike out Washington slugger Adam Dunn and departed.
