Rod Blagojevich appears on "Chelsea Lately" Show

Illinois' former governor will hit two more talk shows this week to hock his new book.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich will sit down with Chelsea Handler Tuesday night on her cable show, "Chelsea Lately," which appears on the E! network.

On Thursday, Blagojevich heads to New York for an interview with Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show," which airs on Comedy Central.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for Blagojevich. Earlier this month, he was verbally accosted by daytime talk show host Bonnie Hunt, and just last week, he sold a seat given to him by late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich spiced up his book tour with a stop at ‘Chelsea Lately’, a late night show on the E! Entertainment Network. The show’s host, comedienne Chelsea Handler, asked Rod about his new book, his family and his wife’s appearance on the reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here.”

“Guest appearances, like the one on Chelsea Lately, show just how popular and personable Rod is,” said Glenn Selig, the governor’s spokesman and founder of The Publicity Agency (www.thepublicityagency.com). “His book sets the record straight about the allegations against him and I think people want to know the truth about what really happened.”
