U2 releases "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" single

"I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" is the fifth track from U2's 2009 album No Line on the Horizon, and will be released as the third single from the album on 17 August, 2009.

The band collaborated with will.i.am in the creation of the track. The track was first developed during a break in the recording sessions by Brian Eno, and was originally titled "Diorama". The band reworked the track with the new title of "Crazy Tonight" before retitling it again as "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight". The music video will be directed by David O'Reilly.

Several of the song's lyrics were influenced by Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Bono stated it was No Line on the Horizon's equivalent to "Beautiful Day".
