SEATTLE - Thirty was the number of the night for the Yankees.
Mark Teixeira's 30th home run of the season, a no-doubt blast to right field off righty Mark Lowe, snapped a ninth-inning tie and helped lift the Yankees to a 4-2 win over the Mariners Friday night, moving the Bombers 30 games over .500 for the first time this season.
"To me, he's an MVP candidate," Joe Girardi said of Teixeira.
