Boston Red Sox defeat Baltimore Orioles, 6-5

BALTIMORE - John Smoltz stood in the center of the diamond and watched Jacoby Ellsbury charge back, the up-down movements of Smoltz’s eyes and neck becoming smaller with the ball’s descent.
