A day after his team got swept in Pittsburgh, David Wright delivered a two-run double off Joel Hanrahan in the 10th inning and the Mets beat Washington, the majors' undisputed worst team, 3-1.

The Nationals have lost 20 of 24 and are on a pace for 119 losses, threatening the 1962 Mets' futility mark of 120 defeats.
