Patti Blagojevich on "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!": Day 4
CHICAGO (AP) — Former Illinois Gov.
Rod Blagojevich (blah-GOY'-uh-vich) says he's "Mr. Mom" during his wife's tenure on an NBC reality show.
Blagojevich appeared Wednesday on CNN's "Larry King Live." He said he and his two daughters have missed the girl's mother, Patti, a contestant on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!"
Republican Judy Baar Topinka contends ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich and "his tarantula-eating wife" don't have any respect for the people of Illinois.
Topinka isn't happy that Patti Blagojevich referred to her on Thursday's episode of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" The former first lady described one of her husband's former opponents as being "like a crazy old aunt."
Patti Blagojevich plays mom to D-list celebs on TV
CHICAGO — Once she was the first lady of Illinois. Now Patti Blagojevich is gagging down bugs and crawling through tropical slime in a race to be named Queen of the Jungle on a reality TV show.
Impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s wife has survived Week 1 on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” Some say her emergence as the plucky, well-liked mom of the group could help erase the image of the “foul-mouthed Lady MacBeth” who spewed profanity on secretly recorded FBI tapes in her husband’s corruption case.
