Baltimore Orioles defeat Tampa Bay Rays, 8-4

WATCH OUT Orioles leadoff man Brian Roberts entered Monday's game in an 0-for-16 slump, so he had plenty on his mind as he stepped to the plate and faced Scott Kazmir for the first time.

He got even more to think about when Kazmir's first pitch sailed behind him. Eight of Kazmir's first nine pitches were balls and his 12th pitch was pounded into the right-field seats by Nick Markakis for a three-run homer.
