Minnesota Twins defeat Chicago White Sox, 12-5

CHICAGO - If the Twins are going to remain competitive through the pre-Joe Mauer stage of the season they will have to make sure Justin Morneau, normally their cleanup hitter, comes to the plate with the table set.

Four games into the season -- and right after a 2-0 loss to Seattle -- manager Ron Gardenhire wasn't exactly thrilled about the production. So he moved Michael Cuddyer to the No. 5 spot in the order and moved Morneau up to No. 3.
