Northwestern Dance Marathon 2009
Northwestern Dance Marathon had another tremendous year in 2009.
The event, which is the only completely student-run philanthropy in the nation, raised a total of $917,834 for their primary beneficiary, Project Kindle, and their annual secondary beneficiary, the Evanston Community Foundation.
Project Kindle is an organization and summer camp that helps children who are affected and infected by the HIV/AIDS virus. The $576,470 that Project Kindle received will go a long way to help the children whose lives they change.
