Minnesota Wild defeat Nashville Predators, 5-3

NASHVILLE — It's indisputable now.

The Wild, the same team that couldn't score, defend or, most of all, win not too long ago, is officially scorching hot and climbing up the standings.

With Saturday night's 5-3 victory over the Nashville Predators, the Wild opened up a five-game road swing with a fifth consecutive victory for the first time since the start of the 2007-08 season and has gobbled up points in 13 of the past 16 games (10-3-3).
