Foul trouble, poor perimeter shooting and too few trips to the free-throw line and too many misses once they got to the line.
Those were the issues that plagued Wisconsin Monday night in the opening round of the Maui Invitational.
Nevertheless, UW managed to remain unbeaten.
With senior guard scoring Trevon Hughes scoring 24 points, UW recovered from a second-half collapse and rallied for a 65-61 victory over a young but talented Arizona team.
