Pittsburgh Penguins defeat Boston Bruins, 6-5

Penguins win it, 6-5, with 1:24 gone in OT. Pascal Dupuis nails in his second goal of the evening to hand the Bruins a crushing loss.

Jordan Staal beat Dennis Wideman to a puck behind Tim Thomas, after Thomas stopped a rimming shot, and made the relay to the front of the net for Dupuis to stuff it home.

With 4/10 of a second remaining in regulation, ex-Bruin Bill Guerin ties it for Pittsburgh, 5-5, forcing overtime.

For 59 minutes 59.6 seconds, the Bruins did a great many things right here last night, despite ultimately frittering away a victory and what could end up being a very valuable point in the standings.
