Twins manager Ron Gardenhire had a panicked question for bench coach Steve Liddle in the 12th inning Tuesday night, as he watched Alexi Casilla stroll to home plate against Tigers closer Fernando Rodney.

After using seven pitchers Tuesday night from the seventh inning on, the Twins were expected to name 12 pitchers to their 25-man postseason roster, which was due late Tuesday night.
The pitchers expected to make the roster are starters Scott Baker, Nick Blackburn, Carl Pavano and Brian Duensing, closer Joe Nathan and lefthanders Francisco Liriano, Ron Mahay and Jose Mijares and righthanders Jesse Crain, Matt Guerrier, Jon Rauch and Bobby Keppel.
