Boston Red Sox defeat Cleveland Indians, 6-2

With the Indians in town, and Victor Martinez now on the home side of Fenway Park, Dustin Pedroia and manager Terry Francona decided to provide Martinez with a little aid.

As Martinez told the story yesterday, “They were joking on me. They told me, ‘Remember, you’re on this side now. Just to let you know, after the third out, don’t run that way. You’ve got to run this way.’ ’’

Not that Martinez was in any danger of forgetting, especially after last night’s 6-2 victor...
