Texas Rangers defeat Baltimore Orioles, 11-10
Practically urged out of the dugout by the moans and audible stirrings of a Sunday afternoon crowd, Orioles manager Dave Trembley made the slow walk to the mound in the fourth inning with his eyes fixed on the ground.
He took the ball from Radhames Liz, patted his young starter twice on the shoulder without saying a word and contemplated another game in which his bullpen would be active much sooner than desired.
He had no idea that a bigger issue loomed.

Trailing 11-5 in the eighth inning, the Orioles certainly didn't go quietly, getting a three-run homer from Nick Markakis. Kevin Millar, who went 4-for-4, and pinch hitter Melvin Mora hit solo homers in the ninth to pull the Orioles within a run, but Rangers closer C.J. Wilson struck out Brian Roberts for the game's final out. There were several defensive miscues and poor pitching performances...
