"SOS" Is Released
"S.O.S" is a song by American pop band Jonas Brothers.
The song was released as the band's second single from Jonas Brothers, their second studio album, in 2007. It was also their debut single in Europe in May 2008 and in UK in early June 2008.
The song is about having troubled relationships with girlfriends.
Nick Jonas reportedly wrote the song in ten minutes, and was inspired by a true story.
The intro is reminiscent of the song "My Sharona" by The Knack.
Their self-titled second album was released on August 7, 2007. It reached number five on the Billboard Hot 200 chart in its first week. Two singles with music videos were also released around this time — "Hold On" two weeks before, and "S.O.S." just after the release of the album.
