"Gangstaz Roll" Is Released

"Gangstaz Roll" was a 2003 single by hip-hop group Mobb Deep.

It was the group's debut on Jive Records having left their previous label Loud Records. However, the single did not chart and was not featured on their subsequent album Amerikaz Nightmare. The b-side was "Clap Those Thangs" featuring 50 Cent. The group would eventually sign with 50's label G-Unit Records in 2005.

Mobb Deep is an American hip hop duo that consists of Havoc and Prodigy. The group is perhaps best known for its dark, hardcore delivery, as exemplified by the single "Shook Ones Pt. II." Although Mobb Deep has not been as commercially successful as many of its peers, the majority of its albums have been critically acclaimed, in particular The Infamous, which is considered an East Coast classic.
