Tiger Woods wins the 129th Open Championship, becomes youngest golfer to win all four majors
Tiger Woods won his first Open Championship and fourth major championship by eight strokes over Thomas Bjørn and Ernie Els.
With the victory, Woods broke Jack Nicklaus's record of being the youngest golfer ever to win all four of golf's major championships. Woods became the fifth player to complete the feat. In doing so, he also achieved the lowest 72-hole score in relation to par of -19, which is a record for all major championships.
