Pan Am Flight 103

Pan Am Flight 103 was a transatlantic flight from London Heathrow Airport to JFK Internation Airport in New York City.

The flight was taking place on Wednesday December 21, 1988 when a bomb was set off inside of the plane. All two hundred and fifty-nine people that were on the plane died. Also, eleven people that lived in Lockerbie, Scotland were killed from the debris from the plane. There were a total of two hundred and seventy people that died from the attack. This event became known as the Lockerbie Bombing.
