Stephanie Marley is born

Stephanie was born in Kingston, Jamaica August 17th, sharing her birthday with Jamaica's first National Hero and a leader against oppression, Marcus Mossiah Garvey.

After completing her studies, Stephanie returned home to Jamaica and immersed herself in the family business of music and entertainment. For the next three years she dedicated her time as the Managing Director of the Bob Marley Foundation, Bob Marley Museum, Tuff Gong International, Tuff Gong Recording, URGE and the Rita Marley Foundation.

Stephanie currently lives in Nassau, Bahamas where she oversees the construction and development of the Marley family's first resort project, Marley Resort & Spa, www.marleyresort.com. She also plays a big role in concert promotion for Tuff Gong Productions.
