Aretha Franklin Releases "Hey Now Hey (The Other Side of the Sky)"

Hey Now Hey (The Other Side of the Sky) is an 1973 album released by R&B/soul icon Aretha Franklin.

This album was originally planned to be a straight jazz album with songs like "Moody's Mood",producers Franklin and Jones took a detour and cut a lot of experimental songs like "Mister Spain".Although some critics of the day dismissed this album as her worst LP up until that point(1973) this is still a powerful LP because it shows that Franklin can be very diverse. This album also includes her #1 hit single Angel written by Aretha's younger sister Carolyn Franklin.
