Franklin published a pamphlet to sell the "Pennsylvania Fire-Place," a new stove design he had created. The pamphlet touted its benefits and the invention sold very well. The stove had some design flaws that were corrected by a later inventor, and that improved design for the "Franklin stove" is still used today.
