CLEVELAND - Twins manager Ron Gardenhire pulled Carlos Gomez into his office Sunday morning for a little counseling.
Gomez had not started the previous three games and was visibly angry. The normally social center fielder had been sitting alone on the bench; in his lone at-bat Saturday, he struck out on three pitches, then threw his batting gloves into the stands.
