Japanese Researchers Find Vitamin E Lowers Eczema Risk in Children

Fans of natural skin care may be interested to read a recent Japanese study which found children with more Vitamin E in their diet were less likely to develop itchy skin diseases like eczema.

The study was performed on a group of 396 ten to thirteen year olds, 240 of whom had eczema, wheezing, or asthma. The scientists found that the kids with the highest level of Vitamin E in their diet were 67% less likely to suffer from eczema.
