Meeting Between President Franklin Roosevelt and Historic Peace Churches

This event has not been added to any topics.

The Historic Peace Churches met with President Franklin Roosevelt in order to discuss conscientious objection in the event of another war. The 1940 meeting did little to change the mind of FDR, but the Peace Churches continued to advocate for conscientious objection.
