~Thursday, August 14~

7.00pm
The statue of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca will be carried in solemn procession to the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park, accompanied by the Italian-American Band and the North End Italian Band for the annual blessing of the Boston fishing waters. Father Antonio Nardoianni, pastor of St. Leonards Parish will preside over the blessing. This will mark the official opening of the 98th annual Fisherman’s Feast of Boston in honor of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca. Following the blessing the statue of the Madonna will be carried in short procession through the Feast area before being placed in her chapel at 11 Lewis street.

Visit the Kia Borrego Experience located on Lewis Street and test drive a Kia Borrego for a free $20.00 gift card. Visit the “Gourmet for Less” cooking demonstration for a free sample and then get refreshed in the Kia “Cool Zone” located in the lot at the corner of Lewis and Fulton Streets.

Visit the “Fisherman’s Feast” Beer & Wine Garden located at the corner of North and Fleet Streets. Enjoy a cool, refreshing beer or sip a glass of wine. Sponsored by the Beer Summit and Sam Adams. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Main Stage - D.J. Sal Bartolo entertains the crowd spinning tunes of everyone’s favorite musical hits.

9.30pm – 10.30pm

Main Stage – Back by overwhelming popular demand! New England’s Premier “Disco” Band “Breakaway”! Hang the crystal disco ball, put on your dancing shoes, There will be dancing in the streets when Breakaway heats up the Fisherman’s Feast Main Stage for 2 shows!

Family Day at the Fisherman’s Feast. Bring the kids and enjoy a walk along North and Lewis Streets as they are transformed into "Via Bambini" There’s plenty of FREE children’s events, games, moonwalks, face painting and more! Outdoor Solemn High Mass in honor of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca, celebrated by Father Antonio Nardoianni.

12.00pm
Main Stage - Presentation of the Privitera Family Scholarship.

12.30pm
The annual 7 hour procession of the statue of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca through the streets of Boston’s North End accompanied by six marching bands.

1.00pm - 3.00pm
Main Stage - Continuous live music.

3.00pm - 7.00pm
Main Stage – Boston's own Jimmy Geany.

The Famous Flight of the Angel! As the statue of the Madonna returns to North street for the finale of the day long procession she is greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic spectators, each waiting for the opportunity to witness the Famous Flight of the Angel. Yankee magazine calls it "truly one of Boston’s greatest treasures" and National Geographic Magazine say’s “It’s a spectacle NOT to be missed!’ As the angel ceremony is completed the spectators below are covered by a snowfall of confetti paper from the rooftops. This year's flying angel is Anne MacDonald with side angels Kathryn Russo and Vitianna Mary D’Amico

10.30pm
The closing procession as the Madonna returns to her permanent chapel at 9 Lewis Street.

11.00pm
Main Stage - Drawing of the winning raffle tickets.
