PHILADELPHIA - The Mets were Fourth of July duds.
A sloppy sixth inning that included two missed foul pop-ups summed up Saturday afternoon as the Mets lost to the Phillies, 4-1. After evening their record with consecutive wins on the eve of the NL East showdown, the Mets again dropped two games under .500, back where they stood when they took that symbolic team-unity bus ride to the stadium in Milwaukee.
