"5 Colours In Her Hair" Is Released

"5 Colours in Her Hair" is the debut single from the British pop band McFly. This was also their first number one in the UK Singles Chart. It stood at the top for two weeks. The song was written by two of the band members, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, and their friend from Busted James Bourne. The track is especially well known for its "Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do, Do!" lyrics, played from the beginning and ending of the song. The track is an homage to As If actress, Emily Corrie. The CD features a duet with Busted. Overall it spent twelve weeks in the UK Chart. It also reached no 7 in Ireland.
