Cleveland Indians defeat Minnesota Twins, 5-4

CLEVELAND - The Twins' clubhouse was quiet and tense after Saturday's 5-4, 11-inning loss to the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.

Manager Ron Gardenhire kept the doors closed to the media for several extra minutes then declined to do his usual postgame news conference. It had been an up-and-down night on the field, but Gardenhire's frustration appeared to stem from a roster decision.

CLEVELAND - With Joe Mauer hobbled by a bruised left heel, the Twins summoned top catching prospect Wilson Ramos from Class AAA Rochester on Saturday.

Mauer isn't expected back in the lineup until Monday, at the earliest, and manager Ron Gardenhire was uneasy moving forward with one healthy catcher.
