Time Magazine Publishes Story Entitled 'Foo-Fighter' Regarding Multiple Alleged UFO Sightings by WWII Pilots

Foo-fighter research shows the genesis of the modern UFO age and during my research I came across the old chestnut of the dreaded government "cover-ups".

For many ufologists WWII is the time when the cover-up really began and there are intimations in many writers' books (Keel, Fawcett, Good for example) that both the US and UK governments were involved in separate studies of the foo-fighter phenomenon.

If it was not a hoax or an optical illusion, it was certainly the most puzzling secret weapon that Allied fighters have yet encountered. Last week U.S. night fighter pilots based in France told a strange story of balls of fire which for more than a month have been following their planes at night over Germany.* No one seemed to know what, if anything, the fireballs were supposed to accomplish. Pilots, guessing that it was a new psychological weapon, named it the "foo-fighter."
